Terms and conditions
By using Super Secretary you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use the app.
1. The service
Super Secretary is productivity software that brings PDF and office, design, construction and business tools together in a single app. Most work offline; a few need our servers. We may add, change or withdraw tools.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
- You must give truthful information when you register.
- You need an account to use Super Secretary, in the app and on the web, including the free tools.
- The account is personal. It can be signed in on at most 1 phone and 1 computer at the same time. If you sign in on another phone (or another computer), the previous one is signed out. When you sign in from a new device we ask for a code that we email to you. You can switch devices up to 3 times a month per type (phone or computer); if you need more, write to us.
3. Plan, free trial and payments
- Free, with an account: the tools in the Office category. They may show ads.
- Premium is the only paid plan, monthly or yearly. It gives access to every tool and shows no ads. There are no credits or packs: server processes only have a daily fair-use limit, meant to stop abuse rather than normal use. Anyone with an active Basic plan keeps it until it ends and gets Premium in the meantime.
- 7-day free trial. When it is offered, you give your payment method at the start and nothing is charged for 7 days. If you don't cancel before then, the first period is charged on day 8 and the subscription keeps renewing. During the trial the daily fair-use limits are lower.
- One trial per person. It is not offered to anyone who has already had it or already had a subscription, nor when the account, email, device, card or network matches an earlier trial; in that case Premium is offered directly, without a trial. If a trial we detect as repeated is started anyway, it is charged from day one. In the app, the trial is handled by Google Play under its own rules.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date: in Google Play if you bought in the app, or from your account on the web if you bought there.
- Charges and billing are handled by Google Play in the app and, on the web, by Paddle or Polar (Polar Software Inc.), depending on your country and the payment method you choose. Each acts as the merchant of record for the purchase it processes, and their refund policies refer to ours. Refunds follow our refund policy.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Super Secretary to:
- Process illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to breach, overload or work around the limits of the service.
- Share your account with other people, get around the device rule or create accounts to repeat the free trial.
- Access the service through unauthorized automated means.
- Resell the service without our permission.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Your files and your content
The content you process is yours. We claim no rights over it. You grant us only the technical permission strictly needed to run the task you ask for. Files uploaded to the server are deleted after 2 hours.
6. Automated results
The results the app calculates —Unit counter counts, background cut-outs, file conversions, construction and business calculations— are a working aid and may contain errors. The Unit counter gives an estimate, not an exact measurement. Review results before using them for any accounting, legal, tax or construction purpose. They are not professional advice.
- The construction calculators (drywall, tiling, construction and carpentry), Structural Design, Studio Planos, Design House and Studio Ebanista are simulators and educational and budgeting tools. They are not an engineering, architecture or construction service, and we do not provide professional advice.
- References to standards, codes or sample values are for learning only: they do not guarantee or certify compliance with any standard and may be outdated, incomplete or not apply in your country or on your site.
- It is your responsibility to hire a licensed professional (engineer, architect or whoever local law requires) to design, calculate, sign and approve any real construction, and to obtain the permits. Do not use these results as construction drawings, calculation reports or for safety decisions.
- The files you export (PDF, Excel, Word, DXF, images and others) carry the same notice; do not remove it when sharing them.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage, injury, losses or cost overruns arising from building, buying or deciding based on these results.
7. Availability
We do our best to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee that it will run without interruption. There may be maintenance and outages.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of data or lost profits arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
9. Cancellation
You can stop using the app and delete your account whenever you want: see Delete account. We may close accounts that break these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version here with its date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
